Dust off the clubs – our Charity Golf Day will be held on Thursday 19th April. It is now time to register your players, hole sponsorships and prizes to ensure a fun-filled networking day.

We will definitely be offering both 9-hole and 18-hole options and want to encourage any novices to register for the 9-hole course and have some fun. You will be in teams so give it a go! Non-golfers are welcome to come as spectators and dinner. Please make sure you get in quick as the field is limited.

Depending on the numbers we get for 18 Hole vs 9 hole players we may need to limit the numbers for each category.

Note we have moved the tournament to the beautiful Akarana club, just off the airport motorway on Dominion Rd. Akarana should be in superb condition after hosting the 5 day Barfoot and Thompson Pro-am the week before us.

Developing young Leaders in Convenience - Peter Jowett scholarship fundraiser

Each year NZACS sponsors two PJ winners from our industry to attend the NACS show in the USA. All funds raised on the day will support the 2018 winner’s study tour to NACS in Las Vegas in October.

Costs (All charges exclude 15% GST Surcharge):

> $130 per 18-hole player (includes dinner & beverages)
> $95 per 9-hole player (includes dinner & beverages)
> $55 per spectator/dinner & drinks (non-golfing option)
> $500 hole sponsorship for NZACS Members
> $500 lunch sponsorship for NZACS Members ( 2 available )
> $1000 hole sponsorship for Non NZACS Members (if you know of a company who are involved within the convenience industry but are not members and would like to be involved please email me their contact details and I will liaise with them)

Format:

Ambrose with teams of 4. Teams will be made up for the day. The 9-hole players will tee off later than the 18-hole players.

Prizes, hole sponsorships and products:

We are looking for prizes and Hole sponsorships. You could sponsor a hole and/or provide prizes for our competition holes. We can also make samples of products available to players before Tee off and during the tournament.

This day provides a great opportunity to mix and mingle with the Who’s Who of the Convenience industry so put your brand on display! If you sponsor a hole, you can decide how creative you want to be and showcase your company on course.

There is limited availability of power on the course. Should you need power please let us know or bring your own generator/power supply. You can brand the holes with flags and banners. The set-up of your sponsored hole can be done from 10:00am on the day of the tournament.

Dietary Requirements:

Do any of your players or spectators have special dietary needs? If so please provide details via email to:  michele@retailworx.co.nz

Golf Clubs, Golf Carts and Trolleys:

There are golf clubs for hire at $25 including a trolley, trolley hire for $5 and golf carts for $40 each. There are 10 golf carts available. These can be pre-ordered from the golf shop by phoning 09 6210024.

Handicaps:

The most important information is the handicap as we team up the players based on their handicap and the company they are from.

NZ Golf Registered players – note your handicap on registration

Non-registered players – Max men’s handicap 27 Max women’s handicap 36

Please note that there are no refunds for cancellations after registration closes. Registrations are limited to NZACS member companies and their invited guests only. Non-NZACS members may apply to become a hole sponsor should they wish to attend by emailing admin@nzacs.com.

Registration closes: 10th April 2018 - there are no refunds after this date.
