NZACS Annual Awards Night – 27 October

We’re pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the 2020 Peter Jowett and Industry Awards event. It’s time to book your seats and look forward to quality presentations and the awards event recognising excellence in the Convenience Industry.

This year’s event will be held at the Crystal Ballroom at The Cordis Hotel

Covid Considerations:

 

  • The event will only be held providing Auckland is at Alert Level 1
  • Total numbers will be limited to less than 100 guests
  • Tables will have no more than 8 guests
  • Refunds – full refunds are available by credit card or bank credit should the event be cancelled.

Introducing the four Peter Jowett Scholarship finalists:

Be sure to come to the afternoon session where our young leaders in the industry will be presenting on the scholarship topic.

Last year we had inquires for partners or family members to be able to attend to support our Peter Jowett Scholarships so as a result, we would like to extend an invite to them to register under the company involved for the afternoon session and the Awards Dinner.

As we are a non-profit association we would welcome sponsorship for this event. So if your company would be willing to sponsor or be a co-sponsor of our pre-dinner Cocktail function please email [email protected]

Your host for the evening: Nick Rado

Nick Rado is a multi-award winning writer, MC and stand-up comedian.

Nick is a panellist and head writer (for over 250 episodes) for TV3’s award-winning topical news comedy show ‘7 Days’.

He is the only comedian to win the NZ Comedy Guild Award for ‘Best Comedy MC’ five times.

What:     4pm – 6pm PJ scholarship competition
                6.00pm – 10pm Awards evening

Dress Code: Business attire.
Please be seated by 4pm for PJ Scholarship

15:00               Registration and light afternoon Tea available.
16:00               Please be seated for Peter Jowett finalists
16:00 – 16:15  Welcome and AGM by Dave Hooker.
16:15 – 17.30  Peter Jowett presentations commence. Voting for best retailer and best supplier presentation will commence after last presentation. Please arrive for the start of the presentations. You may only vote for the presentations you attended. There is one vote per Member Company.
17.30 – 19:00  Pre-dinner drinks and networking opportunity.
19:00 – 19.30  Welcome & introductions. NZACS Executive Director Dave Hooker, Nick Rado MC, Presentation of Industry Awards
19:30 – 20.30  Dinner – entrée and main.
20.30 – 21.00  Final Awards + PJ Scholarship announced
21.00 – 21.30  Dessert / Break.
21.30               Wrap up and thanks
22.30               Evening Concludes
